SSI Specialty Course - Boat Diving
The ocean is filled with dive sites, but many of them cannot be reached from shore. This program gives you the skills and knowledge required to safely dive from a boat, allowing you to get the most from your underwater opportunities. You will earn the SSI Boat Diving Specialty certification after completing this program.

Prerequisite:

Must be at least 10 years old

Be an Open Water Diver or equivalent

What Do I Need to Bring:

Current, completed medical form. If you have any "YES" answers, you MUST have a physician sign off that you are cleared to dive.

Your Total Dive System

Rental equipment and air fills are not included with this specialty training course.
Where:

The classroom session will be held at Mermet Springs or at Mermet Springs Training Center.

Total Duration of class is 7 hours.

Training Materials:
Upon making a deposit for this program, you will have access to your digital training program on your MySSI App or when you log in at www.divessi.com. You must complete all quizzes with a score of 100% before you arrive. There will be a multiple-choice exam at the end of the classroom portion. You must pass the final exam with a score of 80% or higher.
Training Dives:

You will complete 2 open water training dives for certification.

Class Fees:
The cost of the class is $150.00.

$100 includes your instruction, instructor fees & entry into our facility.

$50 pays for your digital home study program, certification fees, your digital certification card and diploma.

A deposit of $50.00 plus purchasing your digital kit will hold your place in the class.

Note: There will be a $50.00 rescheduling fee for anyone canceling a class with less than a 7-day notice.
