
SSI Specialty Course - Dry Suit Diving
This program provides the skills and concepts required to safely and comfortably dive while using a dry suit. You will learn the special requirements for dry suit diving, how to use your new equipment, the benefits of a dry suit, and how to deal with emergency situations that are unique to dry suit diving. You will earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty certification after completing this program.

Prerequisites:

Must be at least 12 years old

Must be an Open Water Diver or equivalent

What Do I Need to Bring:

Current, completed medical form. If you have any "YES" answers, you MUST have a physician sign off that you are cleared to dive.

Your Total Diving Sytem

Rental equipment, except for the Dry Suit, and air fills are not included with this specialty training course.

Where:

The classroom sessions and training dives will be held at Mermet Springs.

Total Duration of class is 7 hours.
Training Materials:
Upon making a deposit for this program, you will have access to your digital training program on
your MYSSI App or when you log in at www.divessi.com. You must complete all quizzes with a
score of 100% before you arrive for class. There will be a multiple-choice exam at the end of the
classroom portion. You must pass the final exam with a score of 80% or higher.
Training Dives:

You will compete 2 open water dives for certification.
Class Fees:
Total cost for the class is $175.00

$125 includes your instruction, instructor fees, & entry into our facility.

$50 pays for your digital home study program, certification fees, your digital certification card, certification card, and diploma
-
A deposit of $50 plus purchasing your digital kit will hold your place in the class.

Note: There will be a $50 rescheduling fee for anyone canceling a class with less that a 7 day notice.

All Specialty classes should be scheduled at least 7 days in advance.
