For your safety, Mermet Springs has made arrangements with Life Beat (helicopter) out of Cape Gireadeau, MO. Mermet Springs is located on their GPS grid for quick evacuations. We are also served by the local 911 system. We have two DAN O2 units and a DE-FIBRILLATOR on site. Our staff is trained in CPR, DAN O2, and De-fib. These items are in place to insure your comfort and safety when diving at Mermet Springs. Listed below is the emergency action plan for our site.

INITIAL NOTIFICATION OF EMERGENCY
If an accident or emergency occurs you should immediately notify the Mermet Springs Office or a staff member. Staff members are identified by turquoise T-shirts with the words "STAFF" in bright yellow letters on their right shirt sleeves.
