CARE Bear - Treasure HuntC.A.R.E. Bear Charity Dive and Treasure Hunt

All day event schedule:

8AM -- Breakfast
8AM to 12PM -- Sign In
12PM to 3PM -- Treasure Hunt
4PM -- Soup & Auction

Treasure Hunt Rules

  • The treasure hunt will begin at 12 noon and end at 3 p.m.
  • There will be NO tokens hidden in or around the training area between the three 15’ training platforms and the petting zoo.
  • All tokens will be hidden in 40 feet of water or less.
  • NO tokens will be hidden in overhead environments that would require you to enter to pick them up.
  • You MUST dive with a buddy.
  • You must end each dive with a minimum of 500 psi.
Treasure Hunt General Information
  • Breakfast from 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
  • Sign up from 8 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
  • You will receive an air fill coupon to be used on the day of the event.
  • The $50.00 sign up fee includes the facility entry fee.
  • Treasure hunt will last from 12 noon till 3 p.m.
  • Warm soup will be available from 3-4 p.m.
  • Auction will begin at 4 p.m.
  • You will receive a numbered card during check-in to use when bidding for treasure.
  • You may bid chips and add cash with them to purchase your treasures.
  • The proceeds from this event will go directly to the Care Bear Foundation to help local kids at Christmas.

 $1500 in sunken tokens are up for grabs:

  • White - 500 --- 1 dollar each = $500.00
  • Blue - 250 ---- 2 dollars each = $500.00
  • Red - 25 ---- 10 dollars each = $250.00
  • Black - 5 ---- 25 dollars each = $250.00

CARE BearAll proceeds benefit Operation C.A.R.E Bears, which distributes toys, clothing and food to underprivileged children in Alexander, Hardin, Johnson, Massac, Pope, Pulaski and Union counties each holiday season.
