We will provide all Scuba gear for your training. You will, however, be required to have your own snorkeling gear. If you already have snorkeling gear, bring it with you. If you need snorkeling gear you can choose your equipment from our onsite dive shop during your classroom sessions. You will receive a discount on all gear purchased during class. The gear that we carry is of the highest quality and reasonably priced.

WHERE:

• Classroom sessions and training dives will be held at MERMET SPRINGS.

WHEN:
• Classroom and training dives are scheduled for:

Saturday September 27th, Classroom 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. / Dives 3p.m. - 5 p.m.

Sunday September 28th, training dives: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.


WHAT DO I BRING TO CLASS?
• You will need to bring your manuals and workbooks to the classroom session.
Manuals and Workbooks:
• Please make arrangements to purchase your books and video before class. You should have your manuals read, the study video viewed and the review questions answered by the start of your class. There will be a multiple-choice exam at the end of the classroom portion. You must pass the exam before completing the open water check out dives. Upon successful Completion of this course you will receive a diploma, a specialty patch and a certification card.


Class Fees:
• The cost of the class is $149.00 and includes the entry and certification fees. Books and air fills are not included. Books are $49.83. A deposit of $25.00 will hold your place in the class.
Note: There will be a $25.00 rescheduling fee for anyone canceling a class with less 3-days notice.


Prerequisites:
• You must be at least 12 years of age and have a minimum of 24 logged dives.
* All Specialty classes should be scheduled at least 5 days in advance*
