MARCH OPEN WATER SCUBA CLASS - MERMET SPRINGS
WHERE:
• The classroom sessions will be held at MERMET SPRINGS.
• Your Pool sessions will be at Executive Inn, Paducah, KY.
• The open water check out dives will be at MERMET SPRINGS.
WHEN: March 8th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 18th, 20th, April 26th and 27th.
• The classroom sessions will be on March 8th and 9th, from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• The pool training will be held on March 11th, 13th, 18th and 20th from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Executive Inn.
• Open water Check out dives on April 26th and 27th at Mermet Springs @2:00 p.m.
WHAT DO I BRING TO CLASS?
• You will need to bring your manuals, workbooks and dive tables to all classroom sessions. You will need a swimsuit, a towel and your snorkeling gear at all pool and open water-training sessions. We will provide all Scuba gear for your training. You will, however, be required to have your own snorkeling gear. If you already have snorkeling gear, bring it with you. If you need snorkeling gear you can choose your equipment from our onsite dive shop during your classroom sessions. You will receive a discount on all gear purchased during class. The gear that we carry is of the highest quality and reasonably priced.
Manuals and Workbooks:
You must have your manuals read, the study video viewed and the review questions answered by the beginning of your class. There will be a multiple-choice exam at the end of the classroom portion. You must pass the exam before completing the open water check out dives.
Class fees:
If you have not paid for your class in full, the remaining class fees are due the first day of class. The cost of the class is $290.00. This includes all pool time, air fills, scuba gear, manuals, log book, dive tables, slates, & certification fees. A deposit of $100.00 will hold your place in the class.
Swim Test:
• You will also be required to complete a 200 yard swim (not timed) and a 10 minute tread water.
Note: There will be a $50.00 rescheduling fee for anyone canceling a class with less than a 21-day notice.

MARCH OPEN WATER SCUBA CLASS - CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. WEEKEND CLASS

WHERE:

  • The classroom sessions: Fitness Plus located at Saint Francis Medical Center ( Cape Girardeau Mo. )
  • Your Pool sessions: Fitness Plus located at Saint Francis Medical Center
  • The open water check out dives will be at MERMET SPRINGS.

WHEN: (weekends)

  • The classroom sessions will be on March 15th and 16th from 10:15 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
  • The pool training will be held on March 29th from 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
  • The pool training will be held on March 30th from 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
  • Open water Check out dives on April 26th and 27th at Mermet Springs @ 12:00 p.m.
  • Note: Your checkout dives may be scheduled for another weekend but must be completed within 6 months after completing your pool and classroom training. 
    You also have the option to complete your training dives on a referral to an ocean destination or with one of our dive professionals on an upcoming Mermet Springs dive vacation. See our travel section for scheduled trips.

We can bring some snorkeling equipment to purchase on the first weekend of class if necessary. You will have a better selection if you are able to visit our dive shop.

This includes all pool time, classroom time, open water check out dives, air fills, use of scuba gear, manuals, log book, dive tables, slates, & certification fees.
